We needed a professional office environment to film the 2nd scene and while we could have re-created the atmosphere in a class room with some computers it was decided that this way would save time and look a lot more genuine and after receiving permission to film there after working hours it made creating certain environments and effects a lot easier since there were no workers who would be effected.
